  • How do I order Lakeland custom insoles
    If you don't know what you want, we recommend visiting our orthotics clinic for expert advice from or orthotist. They will be able to assess, advise you and take an impression of your feet. Our orthotist technicians will then create your insoles which you can receive by post or make an appointment to have your insoles fitted and checked by our orthotist. 1. Purchase your insoles. If you know what you want to order, you can buy insoles direct from our online store. You can order as many insoles as you like and we supply in singles or pairs. You order includes postage top send out the impression box and completed insoles. 2. Wait for your foot impression box to arrive. Once we receive your order, we will send out a foot impression box, order form, and foot impression instructions sheet. This impression box is filled with special foam and allows you to create up to 2 impressions per box (eg. one left and one right foot impression, or one left or right impression 3. Create the impression - follow the appropriate instructions provided with your impression box 4. Complete the order form provided with your impression box 5. Send the box and order form back to us - at your own cost - we recommend recorded delivery). We then create your insoles by hand and send them to you by post. You can arrange to drop of the box and collect your insoles from our factory in Hull by prior arrangement. You will receive instruction for use of your insoles with your completed order. 6. Enjoy your insoles! Please carefully read the instruction for use which accompany your insoles. If we receive the impression box and order form within 3 days of sending the box out, the whole process from placing your order online to receiving your insoles takes around 8-10 working days.   • What is the difference between an insole and an orthotic onsole?
    An insole is a device to cushion and absorb shock whilst an orthotic insole is classed as a device which can relive pain, redistribute pressure and restore natural foot function. If you think you may need orthotics make an appointment with our orthotist to discuss your needs.

How to find us

DUE TO ONGOING WORKS CHAPMAN STREET BRIDGE IS CLOSED

Ordinarily, you can find us using Google maps: Lakeland Orthotics Ltd, Unilt 1 273 Wincolmlee, Hull, East Yorkshire. However it is currently easier to find us by first locating Napoleons Casino (HU1 3BS) and use the following steps to find us:

 

Instructions to find us (updated 3rd November 2022)

If you are using a sat nav use the postcode HU1 3BS which is Napoleons Casino.

 

When you arrive at Napoleons carry on straight on down Wincomlee and follow the road until you reach a mini roundabout at the roundabout - continue straight across on to Lincoln Street. 

 

On Lincoln Street, take the FIRST turning on your RIGHT onto Swan Street.

 

Continue to another mini roundabout where you will see the closed Cumberland Pub. Continue straight on, then take the THIRD street on the LEFT.  Lakeland Orthotics is the second building on the LEFT.
