Produced in the UK using x-strong injection moulded polypropylene and finished with a soft foam calf pad and Velcro touch close strap calf strap. This AFO is reinforced with additional poly-fibre for additional rigidity.
 
This value orthosis is more commonly known as a Swedish AFO and is used extensively in the NHS and private health care industry sectors for drop foot after neurological impairment.
 
It has an easy to trim foot plate and strap to quickly customise for individual fit. It offers a low profile with open heel to fit into the shoe easier. The pad is removeable and washable for comfort and hygiene. The AFO has a rigid shell which aids stability and limits rotation and places the foot in a moderate pronation and dorsi-flexion.
 
It is available in 4 sizes and in left and right. All in all, a super value orthosis with established patient compliance.
