We offer a wide range of orthotic devices and keep a large range in stock.

We also specialise in custom made (bespoke) orthoses and we make and supply traditional devices such as trusses, hernia supports, BK irons and calipers.

We also supply soft and hard orthotic products for all areas of the body from head to toe including bespoke orthopaedic shoes and insoles. If we don’t make it or have it in stock, we aim to provide this to our customers as soon as possible.

Appointments cost £52.80 (inclusive of VAT) for up to 20 minutes plus products (if appropriate).  Products and additional and payable on the day. We may require deposits for bespoke items.

Please discuss your requirements and expectations of your appointment with our clinic manager.

Once you have booked your appointment with us, we will contact  you by email or phone with details of your appointment and will provide a map and directions to the clinic.  Please provide your email and mobile telephone number if possible so we may confirm and send your appointment letter by email and/or text.

The orthotist will assess you and may advise you that you require an orthotic product to assist you.  Depending on the product, it may be supplied and fitted on-site during your appointment.

At times, a product will need to be ordered.  You may require an additional appointment or appointments for the product to be fitted. Wherever possible, you will be notified of the cost of your product prior to your appointment.  

We require appointment and product fees to be paid on the day of your appointment.  

Products not supplied on the day can be collected in person or posted out by courier and you will be notified when they are ready to post or collect.

Unless already paid for online, we require all consultation and product fees to be paid for immediately after your appointment. We accept debit and credit card payments and cash. We no longer accept cheque payment for payment of products and services on the day.

Please allow plenty of time to locate and arrive on time for your appointment.  We may not be able to accommodate late arrivals. If on the day you cannot find us, please call the clinic at Lakeland Orthotics on 01482 586088. We also have a ramp available to assist with entrance into the property should this be required.

Please enter the clinic via the large blue door with the Lakeland Orthotic Sign above.  Knock on the office door immediately on your left and wait for assistance at the entrance area. You will then be shown to the waiting area outside the clinic.

Please note that we are a manufacturing company which offers a clinic within our manufacturing facility and currently we do not have disabled toilet facilities. Our ‘no-frills’ clinic allows us to continue to provide value for money services and products without compromise on quality and customer satisfaction.

Once you have been assessed by the orthotist, he or she may feel you require an additional assessment or product fitting appointment.  If so, they will provide you with an appointment slip.  Please take this to the reception where you will be offered a follow up appointment if this is required.

If you do not attend or cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment time you will be charged 50% of your appointment fee.

If you cancel your appointment when bespoke product have been ordered, you will be charged full price for the products.
